For Officials

When you join EH Sports as an official, you’ll get a number of benefits such as access to in-season video tools to analyse and improve your game as well as ongoing training to ensure that your mechanics and rule interpretations are always on point.  When it comes to mechanics, our philosophy is that when you know where you’re supposed to be, what you’re supposed to be looking at and how you’re supposed to move, your game will take off – that’s why we take it seriously and you’ll get ongoing guidance throughout your time with us.  And if your sport has defined professional development pathways for accreditation, we’ll get you onto that track and help you along the way as well.

We know that many sports have a sliding pay scale for their officials but with EH Sports, you’ll always get paid at the upper end of that bracket, regardless of your seniority.  We will only put you out there if you’re up to it and we feel that if you have the same responsibility as every other official and are exposed to the same environment then you deserve the same pay.

If you join EH Sports as an official, there are two key points to understand:

• There is no monetary obligation on your part. EH Sports simply manages the logistics of officiating for leagues – it is the league that pays us.
• We are not a rival association to your current officials association. We work closely with officials associations and we encourage you not only to maintain your membership but also remain active in your association.  You can be a member of your association AND also be contracted by EH Sports – it isn’t one or the other.
